Rho Iota Induction

On May 3, 2008, during the nursing dedication ceremony, eighteen nurses were inducted into the Rho Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.  They were:  Emily Baldwin, Heidi Bell, Dustin Billington, Emily Brewer, Jennifer Cherne, Amanda Cook, Bernadette Deprez, Jennifer Dittmar, Ann Schmutzer-Geraci, Diana Lifford, Michael Lorren, Elaine Magtanong, Megan Mann, Naomi Miyazato, Abri Oberholster, Russell Proffitt, Kathryn Schnell, and Melvin Viney, Jr.  Officers present and taking part in the induction were Sandra Huggins, President; Kristina Nelson, Vice-President; Cindy Johnson, Secretary; Barbara James, Treasurer; and Jillian Wills, Faculty Counselor.

Sigma Theta Tau International is the Honor Society of Nursing.  Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.  Congratulations to our new Rho Iota members.
